If you don’t wanna waste your time reading a positive review of these toys and only want to enjoy cool photos of them, please scroll down a bit.

As a fan of muscle cars I was a bit (read: VERY MUCH) egoistical in my intention to transfer the love of muscle cars to my son. Did I succeed.. I believe I did a bit. But honestly, I don’t care because I can play with them as well :D.
No main stream toy line says muscle cars more than Hot Wheels; they practically scream it! In fact so much that they even have dedicated sets devoted just to this theme. And in my humble opinion these are their best looking toys; if only they made more effort with the hub caps and diversified them a bit here and there they would be perfect. Seeing as muscle cars are a big selling point for HW they even have packs of Hot Wheels muscle cars for sale like the: Hot Wheels Gift Pack 60’s muscle carsHot Wheels Showroom Muscle Mania and the Hot Wheels Mustang Pack for example. If you’re looking for a specific model or color tone just click here and browse. Amazon has an amazing selection.

If it were not for the muscle car models I would not like Hot Wheels that much, I’d be an even bigger fan of the Matchbox line. I like them so much that I made a bunch of photos of our collection so please… enjoy 🙂
The durability of Hot Wheels cars comes into play excellent here cause no toy car looks more better banged up than a muscle car die cast toy car. A scratch or two makes them look even more real; as if they had a soul. I’m only being honest here 😀

Another one with a soul… this toy has been played with so much that the wheels barely spin. Water is the enemy of die-cast cars 😀

The Hot Wheels ’67 Oldsmobile. Despite the rough appearance it still runs as smooth as a whistle.
